Governance at the Edge
Twenty-five AI governance scenarios with no easy answers
AI governance can seem distant and abstract, or too focused on security. What follows is a set of hypothetical yet realistic scenarios. They are designed to skim quickly and ponder more deeply, applying each one to your own real-world setting.
They sit in the places where governance gets hard. Not the obvious failures, but the situations where the policy, the law and good intentions all point somewhere slightly different, and someone still has to decide.
Each one is short. It sets out a situation, adds a twist, and ends with three questions: one practical, one legal or regulatory, and one about ethics or accountability. There are no answers in this collection. That is deliberate. The useful part is the conversation you have about what you would do, and what you would need to know first.
They work well read alone, and better discussed with a team, a board or a leadership group. Pick one, give it ten minutes, and see where the disagreement is.
